Highlights of Rovaniemi

Throughout this trip, you will tour the capital of Lapland with its most significant city-scape landmarks with your knowledgeable guide. We start by going to the highest point in Rovaniemi, at the peak of Ounasvaara, to enjoy the beautiful landscape of Rovaniemi city which is fantastic for photography. 

Next, we stop by an iconic symbol of Rovaniemi, the Lumberjack’s Candle Bridge. Heading north to Santa Claus Village is where you will find the legend himself. Make sure to check out Santa’s Post Office for its one-of-a-kind Christmas special service! Receive your certificate of crossing the arctic circle at this border.

After lunch in Santa Claus village we continue our trip to the Arktikum Museum, where you could learn all about the arctic and Lapland’s nature, wildlife, history, etc. and even have fun learning by touching! Last but not least, your guide will drive you around the city and visit the designs from the most famous Finnish Architect – Mr. Alvar Aalto.

    Please note

      Operated in Rovaniemi each year between May to November (weather permitting). The minimum number of participants for each safari is 2 full paying adults’ price.

      Please wear suitable outdoor clothing and shoes according to the weather. Raincoats and rubber boots are recommended on rainy days.

      Pick up service is included if the distance from pick up point to Rovaniemi city center is within 8km.

      Meeting time of our safari is always before the starting time of the safari if you need pick-up services. You will receive your meeting time and meeting point upon confirmation or by e-mail. Failure to participate in the safari due to missed meeting time or meeting point will not be refunded.

      Please let us know in advance when you book the safari if you have special dietary requirements. (Eg: vegetarian, gluten-free, etc.)
