Sample the capital of Lapland, Rovaniemi in this 6-7-hour tour around the Arctic Circle border.

Experience, feel, taste, and smell this whole day tour by beginning the day with an invigorating breath of fresh morning air in the arctic forest about 25 minutes driving away from the city. The hiking trail may provide opportunities to see its local animal residents such as moose, reindeer, fox, hare, and various birds if we’re quiet, respectful, and observant enough. After tiptoeing through nature, we will start a fire to have our Lappish BBQ lunch.

Don’t worry if you don’t see any big animals during the morning forest because our next visit will be to Lapland’s VIP animal friends, the reindeer and huskies. 

Get excited to meet the legend himself at Santa Claus Village. The arctic circle border line is also there, and upon crossing it will you receive your Arctic Circle Certificate. Make sure to stop by Santa’s Post Office which provides a one-of-a-kind special Christmas delivery service with an official Christmas stamp.

    Please note

      Operated in Rovaniemi each year between May to November (weather permitting). The minimum number of participants for each safari is 2 full paying adults’ price. 

      Please wear suitable outdoor clothing and shoes according to the weather. Raincoats and rubber boots are recommended on rainy days.

      Pick up service is included if the distance from pick up point to Rovaniemi city center is within 8km.

      Meeting time of our safari is always before the starting time of the safari if you need pick-up services. You will receive your meeting time and meeting point upon confirmation or by e-mail. Failure to participate in the safari due to missed meeting time or meeting point will not be refunded.

      Please let us know in advance when you book the safari if you have special dietary requirements. (Eg: vegetarian, gluten-free, etc.)
